Two-Echelon Location-Routing Problem with Time Windows and Transportation Resource Sharing

In this work, a two-echelon location-routing problem with time windows and transportation resource sharing (2E-LRPTWTRS) is solved by selecting facility locations optimizing vehicle routes. The optimal solutions improve the efficiency of logistics network based on geographical distribution service facilities customers. Furthermore, utilization maximized enabling strategies within among different simultaneously. 2E-LRPTWTRS formulated as biobjective optimization model, obtaining smallest number required delivery vehicles minimum total operating cost are two objective functions. A two-stage hybrid algorithm composed k-means clustering extended multiobjective particle swarm proposed for optimization. self-adaptive mechanism flight parameters introduced adopted during iterative process to balance evolution particles algorithm. Moreover, 20 small-scale instances used an comparison genetic nondominated sorting algorithm-II, demonstrate superiority in networks. model tested employing real-world case Chongqing, China, results verify positive role developed improving efficiency, reducing cost, saving resources operations
